How to use iMovie

1. First open iMovie
2. To open a project, go to file>new project.  You then name your project and save it where you want it to be saved.
3. To import clips, click the video camera icon and then drag and drop the clips into imovie. You can then drag them into the timeline so you can edit them.
4. To trim the clips, you can select/highlight the part you want to delete with the yellow markers and then press backspace on the keyboard to delete the selected part.
5. To add a title to your edit, select the title effects and choose the style of the text you want. Then drag and drop the text onto the clip and then adjust the text with the settings you want and what you want the text to say etc. 
6. To upload to youtube click the 'share' button at the top of imovie, then select share to youtube. Change the settings and have the video quality at 'large'. You then use your youtube account details to have the video uploaded to your youtube.
