Hi welcome to my new blog!

Today we learned  how to make a blog, I am going to show you what we learned.

Firstly we learned how to upload pictures to our blog, you can do this by taking a picture or finding one from the internet then hitting the small picture icon above.

When you click on this icon you have some options that allow you to add a photo to your blog, simply select the file wait for it to upload then click the 'Add selected' button.
This can be useful for showing screenshots, or photos of what i have done.

We also learned how to embed a youtube video!
To embed a youtube video, click the film icon next to the 'insert image' icon. You will get these options.

From here you can search for a youtube video and embed it into your blog.












We also used SlideRocket to embed presentations into our blogs. All you do is sign up, create your presentation then hit share, and then 'Get embed code...'

You will get a screen like this, all you do is copy the long code of the presentation. You then come back to your blog, and at the top select 'HTML' next to the 'Compose' button. The page will change, if you have images or videos in your blog there may already be some HTML codes. Simply paste the presentation code at the end the go back to the 'Compose' button and your presentation will be in your blog!



Another useful tool is Gyazo it is a free screen grabbing tool for windows which allows you to have better control over what you printscreen, you can then save these images or use the image link in your blog!
